Traditional Irish music suggestions for wedding procession and first dance. ? I suppose you could say the theme for our wedding is Traditional Newfoundland. We both live on the island and that's where our families have lived since the 1700's. We're hiring a traditional Irish Newfoundland band which plays folk music from Ireland, England and Newfoundland. We're trying to find the perfect song to use in the church. We're both Anglican ( but both of our mothers used to be Catholic) if that makes any difference what so ever. (Thriller would be too much for me, but I really liked the Dirty Dancing one).
