Where can I find good Turkish dance music?
I recently went to Istanbul and visited some trendy restaurants/ night clubs. The music in the background was some of the best I have ever heard. During dinner, the music was what I would clasify as "ambient". And later on at night the pace picked up and it became more dance / pop. All genres had a definite Turkish sound. I'd love to buy some of that music for home. Can you name me some artists that make this tpye of music? Where can I buy it online? Thanks

The first answerer's list features some of the most popular pop singers. The examples of Turkish pop music is very easy to find on youtube. For Turkish dance music, apart from the pop singers there are very successful dj's in Turkey. Unfortunately I don't know their names. If you search on the web "famous Turkish djs" you can find lots of examples.
