Need some ideas for some good dance music?

I'm looking at DJ'ing a Christmas party, and the woman in charge of putting it together wants a lot of dance music. I'm not much of a dance music guy, so I don't really have any good ideas. Can anyone help?

  2. Then what do you play? DJs should always have a full list of dance music.. I guess some suggestions are like G-Get up and Dance - Faber Drive Sexy Chick - David Guetta ft Akon Evacuate the Dancefloor - Cascada The Party Pleaser - Per Gessle Plus all the old favourites that everyone likes dancing to. You should also through in some pop remakes of Christmas carols..

  4. just turn on the radio, or go to yes.com and type in the name of the local pop station. Right now all i can think of is lady gaga, the song tik tok, the song replay... well i could name some crazy dance music, but i don't think it would go over well.
  5. now wait do you mean dance music as in ''to dance too''? dance music as in pop/dance such as ''calvin harris''? or dance music IE trance,rave,house,electronic? eh i will try return to this Q if you add details on what type of music, if you are on about trance etc i can help you out. if its just for a general mainstream party then listen to the other answers such as Black Eyed Peas etc
