How to make electro dance music using guitar?

I was wondering if its possible making electo dance music by using electro guitar and different effects that you add to it. You think you can make it work and nice sounds out of it?

Once you master the groove you will be amazed by the variability of your playing. To improve the variability get your self a multi effect or several modulation and delay multi pedals. By combining phasers, slicers, vibes, etc. you can create some damn good music
